Why SO Many Religions?

Let's face it: Why are there SO MANY religions in the world?

You know what?  The answer to this question is very simple.  What? Simple?!  You'll know what I mean after considering this question: Why are there SO MANY persons in this world?

Now you get it? The very reason why there are so many religions is simply because there are so many persons in this world and each person has his or her own view of God.  With time, these different opions of God group into different major camps in the form of the so-called "religious doctrines."  In other words, different religions reflect different aspects of OUR views about God: who He is, how He is like and what we human beings should do in order for us to be right in His sight.

Let us ponder another question: If there is indeed a God -- almighty, all powerful, superior to all other beings, do you think He would be capable of revealing Himself to us?  If so, do you think HIS revelation would be uniquely different from those of human beings?  Talking about the means by which He reveals Himself, wouldn't HIS means be uniquely different from OURS?



Indeed!  The religion of God, not religions of human beings, centers on a Unique Person, not on a series of doctrines.  This Person is uniquely different from all persons on earth because He was God who manifested and cloned Himself in flesh in Mary's womb (Mary as a surogate mother rather than a biological mother was simply a vessel) at a certain moment in human history.  He was God who made Himself visible and touchable in flesh for a period of thirty three and half years.  However, people at that time did not like Him. They wanted Him to be cut off completely from among them. Consider this: His death sentence was made in the highest religious court at that time. Yet, out of their own ignorance, they helped to accomplish God's Purpose: giving His own flesh up for the sins of the world! After three days, He rose among the dead to prove He was indeed God who became flesh.

Do you want to know more about this Unique Person?  You know what, knowing Him means getting the key to all God's hidden mysteries; knowing Him means choosing life over death.  It is the most meaningful journey a person on earth could ever take.
